EURON workshop: Psychopharmacology: from laboratory to clinic

This year EURON will organize the EURON workshop “Psychopharmacology: from laboratory to clinic”
In this EURON course different topics in Psychopharmacology will be presented. The topics for this event are Neurodegeneration, Neurodevelopment, Psychosis, Addiction and Experimental Medicine, and Drug Development and Neurohealth. The students will be introduced into the latest developments in these fields and will get a better understanding of how drugs work in the brain and drugs can be developed for treatment in various brain diseases.
Participants can attend presentations as well as engage in different interactive workshops and debates. Participants also have the opportunity to present their own research in poster and elevator pitch sessions. We encourage active participation and active engagement in discussions with the experts in the field coming from academia and industry. Next to the scientific programme there will also be a social programme.
Organization: School for Mental Health and Neuroscience, Division Neuroscience (FHML) and Department Neuropsychology and Psychopharmacology (FPN) in collaboration with the University of Crete, Heraklion, Greece.

The workshop is open for EURON and other international PhD students (and junior Post-docs) with a maximum of 50 participants.
The registration starts on March 1st, 2017.

After registration you will get a link to the online payment platform. Registration is definitive after payment. For Maastricht participants an internal budget number is required.
Participants will be asked to submit an abstract of their own research. This workshop qualifies for 2 European credits.
The workshop has been awarded by the FENS and IBRO-PERC. The FENS organisation will offer stipends to cover the costs related to the programme. The stipend is 750 EUR each for master and/or PhD students; European or non-European (not residing or studying in the Netherlands or Greece) will be awarded.
