To complement the established PhD training programme EURON is currently developing an international curriculum for a Master’s degree, funded by the European Union (2009-2012). This programme, the European Master’s Degree in Translational Neuroscience (EMTN), which is designed to guarantee an outstanding international research training program in basic and translational neuroscience, is organized by EURON partner universities. The contributing research centers, which offer specific expertise in many neuroscience-related disciplines and excel in complementary fields within the neurosciences, will provide the educational and research expertise required for the multidisciplinary training of the students. The two university hospitals within the consortium (Maastricht University Hospital and the Universitätsklinikum Aachen) highlight the medical needs that demand translational integration of basic neuroscience research. Estimated start date: September 2017.
EURON stimulates the exchange of Master students between the partner universities regarding the internships of the students. Contact the EURON coordinating office for posibilities.
